Ex(photo)ploring Exploring the cultural landscape at night while making a photograph.
Åsulv Reppesgård
To be able to explore the cultural landscape and discover new qualities in it I invented "The personal night landscape discovery tool". This equipment performs best at night when light is absent, then the space in landscape that we are used to disappears and by using this tool new spaces with new qualities comes to life.
"The personal night landscape discovery tool" can also be used as a paintbrush to draw pictures on to film in a camera using the landscape as a canvas. The picture on the "rundball" is taken with an old analog Nikon FE, with a Nikkor 24mm lense. It is a 60 minute exposure at f8 on Fujifilm Sensia 100.
