Barselgrad
Barselgrad is a one-year project situated at former school at the west coast of Norway. The project forms a space for personal artistic development, but simultaneously a contributor to the local community and environment in Fykse and Hardanger. Barselgrad is taking place at the Fykse School from September 2007 to august 2008. Barselgrad is arranging Bluss together with Will Foster, Kaja Tvedten Jorem and Fyksesund Landscape Park.

Fyksesund Landskapspark
Fyksesund Landskapspark was established September 18th 2007. The aim of Fyksesund Landskapspark is to facilitate increased activity and use of the Fyksesundet area, perceived as positive by the businesses, the local people and the landowners, while taking care of the nature, culture and landscape. Businesses, local people, and landowners who are interested in the project can all join as members. We ask all members for good ideas to reach our goals, suggestions for projects and support for implementation of projects. Fyksesund Landskapspark is one of total seven parks in the County of Hordaland – a project for sustainable business and landscape development in Hordaland initiated and managed by The County Governor of Hordaland.

Gamlastovo Gardsrestaurant
Gamlastovo Gardsrestaurant er ein av dei mest særmerkte og spesielle gardsrestaurantane i Hardanger. Den ligg plassert i det gamle klyngetunet på Fykse i eit fantastisk kulturlandskap. Grenda fekk i 1999 Kulturlandskapsprisen for Hordaland. Me ynskjer gjestene velkomne til å smaka lokal mat krydra med opplevingar som grottebesøk, GPS-navigerte turar og musikk. Me har kurs-og konferansefasilitetar for mindre grupper.

Fykse 70/6
Fykse 70/6 is the name of the the local butchery in the small village of Fykse in Kvam. Our products are developed on the farm, based on tradition, local kowledge and quality ingredients. We have specialist skills in refining local lamb meat – ”pinnakjøt”, ”fenalår” and different cured sausages, and you can buy our produce directly from the farm.

Hardangermeny
Hardangermeny started at the 1. November 2004 from an initiative take by the Hardanger council. Hardangemeny is financed by
Hordaland County Council, the county governor in Hordaland, the office for tourist roads, the Hardanger council’s regional trade foundation. The aim is to increase the use of local raw materials and that serving places will offer a menu that will reflect the food traditions of Hardanger. Hardangermeny is in charged of food at STREIF.

Bygdalarm
Bygdalarm is a pop music festival that was first launched in July 2007. The festival was a big success and it has since then been arranged a christmaslarm. This summer there will be a new festival, an artlarm and an easterlarm. During Bluss Bygdalarm are arranging a club night.

Kvam Herad
Kvam lies on the northwest side of the Hardangerfjord, with a beautiful view of Folgefonna, Norway's third largest glacier.
The district has 8330 inhabitants. Its beautiful landscape stretches along the fjord from Strandebarm to Ålvik, a distance of 85 km. (kilometres).
In recent years Kvam Herad has put worked on creating a thriving art scene in the region.

Sparebanken Vest
Sparebanken Vest is to be an active community agent on the west coast of Norway and aims to support the region’s cultural scene, sports and chosen organizations. Sponsoring local initiatives is an important commercial tool to promote the core values of the bank, which are ‘local’ and ‘engaged’. The bank’s primary sponsor-receivers are from the cultural and sport sector.

Hordaland Fylkeskommune
Hordaland County with its more than 459,000 inhabitants, is the home of 10% of Norways population. In addition to its beautiful nature, Hordaland is also a major cultural centre in Norway and can boast of rich cultural traditions which form the basis for a strong and healthy cultural infrastructure.
At the moment, Hordaland County wants to highlight art in the countryside.
