Strengthinnumbers took place at the Market Gallery, Glasgow, in August 2005. The Market Gallery is on Duke Street, which is in the process of gentrification. Bosanquet asked 4 of the shops of Duke Street to contribute by talking through a skill they did in their day and recorded this action audibly. She then asked a group of people that live on Duke Street to participate in the performance. The main number of the participants were stood on one side of the street and asked then to copy the action of one participant. This one participant, inside the gallery, was listening to the audio recording and asked to follow the directions. The outcome was like a large game of Chinese whispers that spanned Duke Street.
