Roadkill

This ongoing series began during a residency at Grizedale Arts in Cumbria, an area with a rich history of taxidermy. I became fascinated by the quantity of dead animals found on the rural lanes and felt compelled to make some kind of memorial. I decided to collect examples and requested local taxidermists to preserve them in the state in which they had been found.
