Wasteland
I constructed a camouflage suit from details copied from popular landscape paintings. For a month I set out in this outfit and walked around Glasgow’s Wasteland sites off High Street, in what had once been the city centre. This performance, which formed part of the annual Bulkhead Prize, was an attempt to make an invisible monument to Glasgow’s changing history. I wanted to raise questions about the point of separation between nature and culture, rural and urban.
