Plot Shift - Gardens by correspondence
invited artists to create a design proposal/ manual for a portable garden plot that could be use within the artists collective living and working environment at Fykse School. The prerequisite of the design was that it should focus on one specific area within a garden e.g a compost heap or a vegetable patch. The design should be functional and portable or easily moveable. The design itself should be made from low-cost and easily accessible materials- they could be recycled or re-appropriated. The proposal/ manual should stipulate the necessary information in order to make the design. At the end of the Barselgrad project Aug 2008 each of the plots that made up the garden were moved and given to people within the Fykse community for further use.
